As the festivals wind down to a close for the summer, lets take a look at the highlights from all the very best of the summer action.

With Glastonbury festival having been a massive success, despite all the controversy with regards to its musical line up, the festival seemed to be a roaring success. Jay Z rocked the pyramid stage, whilst the Verve had a real party showing their class with a terrific come back set. Lets hope you were lucky enough to get a ticket to this cracking festival! Amy Winehouse looked a little shaky on stage but with just ten percent of her voice she still has enough music in her to kick the crap out of other festival artists and make it worth the ticket price alone just to see her punch a festival goer. Neil Diamond also played and topped a great festival for everybody who was lucky enough to get a ticket.

VFest went off with a bang too, hopefully you were lucky enough to get a ticket! Another cracking music festival kicked off with the Verve storming another headline set the sugababes performed, along with festival party favourites, the Kaiser Chiefs. We predict a riot kicked off there and that everybody had a ruby red letter day.

There are more dance festivals and rock festivals ready to kick off and we are currently running a competition to give two tickets away to Reading & Leeds festivals. Slipknot, Tenacious D, Metallica, The Killers and Rage against the machine are all headlining Reading and Leeds festivals this year and everybody will be wanting a ticket to see RATMs first reunion gig and they will be performing at Reading & Leeds festival first! Bad year to be without a ticket!

Talking of festivals, we musnt forget the flip side of the coin, the famous British dance festival when all you need is your ticket, your dancing shoes and a big bag of supplements. These festivals are only for the hardcore!

Such festival events as Global Gathering, West Fest, Creamfields have attracted a strong, strong following over the past few years. People are fighting to get a ticket, no doubt we shall be running competitions for these tickets where you can win the chance to get two sets of tickets to these festivals for less than the price of a burger!
