Now everyone knows Diddy rocks up to the clubs and festivals without even so much as a ticket. But everybody also knows that there ain't no need for a club or festival ticket if you own a superyacht. But this is now and that was the 90s, superyachts are a thing of the past. You wanna be a player? Buy a submarine.
Example : Ibiza town harbour, no more room on the pier for your superyacht...shoulda been there earlier and not had such a slamming party. Never mind, surface in your submarine at the end and still get the mens jaws dropping and the ladies drawers dropping. Laws of respect = even the biggest yacht giving up their ticket to the bay for the cooler submarine.
The Billionaire Boys Club are all going to greater depths (sorry, couldn't resist) to buy a ticket to the submarine war currently breaking out amongst the billionaires who like to party in style.
The sub, Poseidon, is targeted at the booming market for luxurious but extreme adventure. It'll be the first commercial sub where you can buy a ticket to party at the bottom of the ocean.
Subs as a way to party don't come cheap...the damage would be £100m. At 286ft it is designed to run as good on the surface as submerged. That's good news for all the billionaire club, festival and party madmen who regularly visit this site. Who can see if you're submerged anyway...the ticket is to just be seen emerging and then the party can kick off on deck.
It is the brainchild of Bruce Jones, a submarine entrepreneur who believes that deep ocean tourism rivals space as a new frontier for party, club and festivals crazy henchmen. Three multi-millionaires have already paid mad money to party in space so why not set up club atlantis.
Only don't expect an invite just too soon...Abramovich was recently quoted as saying "If you can find my submarine, it's yours."
