The car park was turned into an extension of the club and as 10,000 people turned up it was quite necessary. Walking down the platja not having bought a ticket, I came across a PR selling Space club tickets. Even he advised me that there would be no way of getting in as it was too busy. Stubborn as a mule I bought a ticket and queued for an hour to enjoy what was the best night of my life. As the tunes were slamming I was smug-as-you-like and lauded my own strong-headedness for buying a ticket to the party.
DC10 stuck two fingers up to the PO PO with its Freedom Re-opening party. Chat was that it would be forced to stick to its 68 (yes 68) person maximum capacity and pay a 300,000 euro fine. I don't know about the fine but there were certainly more than 68 people!
As the season is now well under way, half an eye has to be cast onto the closing parties.
